AOPA Foundation announces 2022 scholarship program

AOPA Foundation recently opened its 2022 scholarship program. Scholarships are available in multiple categories, including primary (sport, recreational, and private pilot) certification, instrument rating, and aviation maintenance technician certificate. Scholarship awards range from $2,500 to $14,000.

AOPA Foundation has earmarked 80 flight training scholarships at $10,000 each for high school students to pursue their private pilot certification. And up to 20 flight training scholarships at $10,000 each are available to high school teachers utilizing the AOPA Foundation High School Aviation STEM Curriculum.

The deadline for scholarship applications is Friday, February 11, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
